What decides the spec.
Product contact
Labels touching food or cosmetics need FDA-certified toner for food contact and non-migrating stocks. For jars with creams or oils we use PP film, not paper.
Moisture and rubbing
Bottles kept on ice, washed jars, bathroom flacons: white or clear film with lamination. Textured paper stays for wine and artisan products that do not sit in water.
Application
Manual or automatic application changes unwind direction, core diameter and gap between labels. Tell us in the brief and the roll ships ready for the line.
Mandatory information
Food, cosmetics, detergents and pharma have mandatory minimum text and pictograms. We check legibility at real size before print approval.
FAQ
Asked before every order.
Wine and artisan products usually go on textured or kraft paper; cosmetics, food and detergents on white PP or clear PP with lamination. Send the product photo and the filling process and we recommend the stock in the technical quote.
Yes. We print with FDA-certified toner for food contact and pick stocks and adhesives suited to the product and its storage temperature.
Yes. Digital LED print has no plates, so several designs can run in the same job and come out on separate rolls.
