Semi-gloss paper is the default when the product does not sit in water or in the fridge. It holds toner well, reproduces colour faithfully and takes lamination if you want rub protection. For most dry goods the conversation ends here.

LIMITS
What to watch out for
- Without lamination it will not survive water or condensation.
- On chilled bottles it warps; switch to white PP.
- Transit rub can mark heavy dark areas.
FAQ
Common questions
Not on its own. Laminated it handles splashes and wiping, but not immersion or long condensation. For that we use PP.
Yes, hot foil applies very well, especially over matte lamination where the contrast is strongest.
Semi-gloss carries a slight sheen and more saturated colour. Matte is glare-free and reads more restrained, but colours sit slightly flatter.
