Can a scannable barcode be printed?

Yes, with an opaque white area under the code so scanning contrast is sufficient.

Do you print on polyester?

No. We produce on paper, textured paper and PP (white, clear, silver, gold). For a metallic look we use silver PP.

Is there a gold version?

Yes, gold PP, with the same print and lamination behaviour as silver.

Silver PP labels: metallic look, plates and serialisation

We run silver on metallised PP film, not polyester: polyester is not part of our production. Silver PP gives the same metallic look, handles water, oils and rub, and with lamination it takes heavy handling too.

LIMITS

What to watch out for

The metallic base shifts printed colour perception.
For high heat and repeated solvent wiping we do not recommend our label; that calls for polyester, which we do not print.
For very small type we check legibility at proof.
